All the Bling of Christmas ----Nov 16th, 2020
Today, I was in the mood for shiny Christmas. The mega-shine comes from brushed metallic foil, foil designer specialty paper, lots of colored rhinestones and the beaded pearl centers. This is bulky when folded but is intended more for display than for mailing. A number of the items used in this card are from the August-December 2020 mini catalog, so may not be available after next month.

Color Abounds (Nov 15, 2020)--Adding color without colored cardstock layers
A greater depth of color is added with the use of ink-laden sponged edges on Whisper White cardstock and some Stampin' Blends alcohol markers on the main image. The background Pacific Point card base is the only colored cardstock used here. Stamp sets are Borders Abound for the message and Beauty Abounds for the image.

Quilling with Stampin' Up! cardstock
I have always wondered how the wonderful Stampin' Up! cardstock would do if I tried to do quilling with it. Now I know! Not as flexible as quilling paper but still works pretty well. It is a pain cutting many thin strips with a paper trimmer but worth the effort. Added color accents with a Real Red Stampin' Blend (SU alcohol markers). Used some strips for a woven paper accent too.
